Overview
Prayer Connect ("we", "the skill") helps Muslim households play the adhan on Alexa devices at prayer times based on location settings you provide.
Information we collect
- Amazon user identifier (required to link your Alexa account)
- Home location: latitude, longitude, IANA timezone, and optional address label
- Prayer calculation preferences and enabled prayers
- In-skill purchase entitlement status (whether Adhan Playback Unlock was purchased via Amazon)
- Technical logs for scheduling and error diagnostics
How we use information
- Schedule native Alexa prayer reminders automatically — no routines to configure
- Deliver free voice announcements or paid adhan audio based on your entitlement
- Process in-skill purchases through Amazon's payment system
What we do not collect
- Amazon account passwords
- Credit card or payment details (handled by Amazon In-Skill Purchasing)
- Voice recordings beyond standard Alexa service processing by Amazon
Data retention & deletion
Settings are stored until you disable the skill and request deletion by contacting the developer. You can update or remove location settings from the companion dashboard at any time.
Third parties
The skill runs on Amazon Alexa and AWS. Amazon's privacy policies apply to Alexa devices and Login with Amazon authentication.
